    Giuliana Rancic back at work and her recovery from double mastectomy


    The "E! News" host and reality star Giuliana Rancic, 37, was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer back in August while getting ready to have fertility treatments to help her conceive. Initially, she underwent a double lumpectomy that failed to get all the breast cancer. The host then decided to undergo a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. She has successfully recovered and is back at work. She is also promoting the 5th season of Style's reality series, "Giuliana and Bill," which she hosts with her husband Bill Rancic. The reality show will follow the couple as they deal with Giuliana's breast cancer battle.The new season premieres Mon., April 2 at 8 p.m. EST on Style.

    Ms. Rancis's diagnosis, surgeries and recovery have gotten a lot of attention. The host has utilized the media platforms available to her to spread the message about having regular check ups and how they can save women's lives. She is an avid user of tweeter and she and her husband kept updating fans and her tweeter followers on her progress. Lately she has been very candid about her progress, reconstruction surgery and her scars. She has expressed that her scars will tell an incredible story.
    "I feel great considering it's been two and a half weeks, but I still have a ways to go as far as recovery," Giluiana said on the NBC's "Today Show" "It was definitely hard. Up until about a week and a half ago, it was hell."
